Privacy Policy

Effective September 11, 2026 · Version 2026-09-11

We use account, order, and delivery information to run the store. Optional analytics stays off unless you accept it. Email [email protected] for privacy questions or requests.

This is the versioned document. View the current policy.

Who is responsible

NFI Manuals operates this website and handles the personal information described here. Contact [email protected] for privacy matters. This policy describes our practices, not the independent practices of sites you choose to visit through external links.

Information we receive

If you save a manual or package to your account wishlist, we store its catalog identifier, your account identifier, and when it was saved. Your wishlist is private, persists across signed-in devices, and works without optional analytics. You can remove saved items in your account. Saving does not subscribe you to marketing messages.

Account information includes your email address, account identifiers, password hash, role, and session records. We receive the information you include in support messages. Do not send passwords, full card details, or unnecessary sensitive information.

Order records include purchased publications, prices, currency, discounts, taxes, payment and refund status, order and Stripe identifiers, contact information returned by checkout, and the Terms version and acceptance time for new orders. Historical orders may not have acceptance fields.

Stripe collects payment and billing information on its checkout pages. We receive information needed to confirm and manage orders, but do not receive or store your full card number or card security code.

Access and security records can include IP address, user agent, timestamps, account/order identifiers, requested file, token usage, and authorization outcomes. An authorization record does not necessarily mean a file transfer finished. Our infrastructure and service providers may also retain operational logs.

Why we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, process orders, verify payments, deliver access links and downloads, send service emails, investigate failures and abuse, handle support and refunds, and maintain financial and dispute records. We also retain the record of contractual acceptance.

Where relevant data-protection law requires a lawful basis, order and account processing supports our contract with you; security and fraud prevention support legitimate interests balanced against individual rights; mandatory accounting and legal records support legal obligations; optional analytics uses consent. We do not use optional analytics consent as a condition of purchasing.

Optional analytics and external links

With your permission, we may use Google Analytics to measure public catalog activity and purchase events. Our integration uses a public-route allowlist, drops query strings, excludes private account, admin, guest-access, and download routes, and does not deliberately send emails or access tokens. Google may process technical identifiers and network information when analytics is enabled.

No analytics is intentionally collected before acceptance, and we do not replay earlier browsing activity after you accept. You can reject or withdraw through Cookie settings. Withdrawal stops future analytics from our integration and clears first-party analytics storage where technically possible; it does not undo information already transmitted.

Social profiles are ordinary links, not embedded feeds. Opening TikTok, Instagram, Discord, Stripe, or another linked service takes you to that service's privacy and storage practices. We do not load social tracking embeds by default.

Who receives information

Stripe processes payments and supports tax, refund, and dispute handling. Resend processes transactional email delivery. Hosting, database, storage, and security providers process information needed to operate the service. Google receives optional analytics data only when that feature is enabled and you consent.

Authorized staff access information as needed for support and operation. We may disclose information to comply with a lawful request, protect rights and security, obtain professional advice, or support a business transfer with appropriate protections. We do not sell customer contact lists or use this site for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Retention and security

We retain records according to operational and legal needs, including order access, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, support, refunds, and disputes. Token expiry limits access but is not a promise that related database or log records are immediately deleted. Backups may retain records until their normal replacement. We do not promise a fixed deletion schedule that the service has not implemented.

We use measures including hashed passwords and access tokens, protected download authorization, and restricted server-side credentials. No online service or email channel is completely secure. Protect your account and private order links, and notify us promptly of suspected misuse.

Your choices and requests

You can change cookie choices at any time, sign out, and contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or information about your records. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to portability, restriction, objection, appeal, or complaint to a regulator.

Email [email protected] from the order or account email where possible. We may ask for proportionate verification before releasing or changing information. Never send card details for verification. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations, security, or outstanding transactions; we will explain applicable limitations. Requests are handled within the time required by applicable law.

International processing, younger users, and updates

NFI Manuals is based in the United States. Our service providers may process data in other countries where legal protections differ. Where required, appropriate transfer arrangements must apply through the relevant providers.

The store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly solicit their personal information. Contact us if you believe such information has been supplied.

We will update this policy when practices materially change and identify the new effective date. Material changes to optional storage purposes require a new consent choice.
